Pop!

All around the mulberry bush
The monkey chased the weasel.
The monkey thought 'twas all in fun.
Pop! goes the weasel.

I feel like the weasel. In SO very many ways. Pop! Most of them are too pathetic to post.

I feel bad saying this, but this was once Jack's favorite song, and he'd crack up whenever we sang it to him.

You're not the weasel, I swear. Weaseling out of things is important. It's what separates us from the animals. Except the weasel...

I am a daughter, sister, friend, wife, counselor and colleague. I am a work in progress. There may be some pieces out of place and things might be messy, but it's okay. I would rather accept that I am still unfinished than think that this is it.
